Jazzcrazy's local venue, The U.C.C. (The Undercliffe Cricket Club) hosts twice monthly jazz meetings (usually the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of the month).
Featuring one the North's best known house-bands, The Ken Butler Trio, usually accompanied by a guest vocalist and musician, we can think of nowhere we would rather be mid-week to catch some up and coming and established jazz performers.
Nancy J. Brown (Vocals)
Nancy, a great effervescent and exuberant singer has unfortunately returned to the Capital. But she has promised to return to "Gods own county" in the near future to please her large following of fans.
It would appear that the future is sooner than we dared hope, as Nancy J. Brown comes back to The U.C.C.

Trevor is one of those "Been everywhere and done everything people". Whether its' Playing in Big Bands, Playing with Jazz ensembles, Backing International singers or Writing arrangements for the B.B.C. Big Band. OH Yes! He's also a Music Professor, teaching at the L.C.M.
